Our restaurant is very popular with guests who love to experience the blend of Mozambican and Portuguese food that our lovely chef Mila prepares.
We are also fortunate to have the rich, fresh abundance of some of the world's finest fish and biggest prawns right on our doorstep which combine perfectly with the exotic and fresh produce that is found locally. Using these fine ingredients and Mila's flair for cooking and food you will be thrilled with what you find on your menu.
Although Tofo Earth Lodge is primarily self-catering, we know that our guests occasionally like to have a day off from cooking and cleaning so we are happy to provide meals. It should be noted that because we do not freeze meals and they are freshly made on site for you, that you please provide us with 24 hours’ notice of your meal requirements. This allows Mila to shop and prepare for your meal, especially for dinners.
We welcome restaurant guests, again please book 24 hours in advance for either lunch or dinner.
For groups who do not wish to use self-catering you can add full- (breakfast, lunch, dinner) or half- (breakfast/dinner) board options to your booking.
In late 2016 we were fortunate to have the Food Safari chef Sarah Graham use our location for an episode of her TV series. She cooked up a storm with our fresh foods and local ingredients, daresay there was some tip sharing between Mila and Sarah.
